There’s nothing like picking your own apples. Luckily, we have Apple Annie’s Orchard in Willcox.
This weekend and next, celebrate the peak of apple season with tree-ripened Red Delicious, Golden Delicious and Rome Beauty apples and Asian pears. You can pick your own or purchase just picked apples.
If you get there early, you’ll be able to enjoy Apple Annie’s all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7:30 AM – 10:30am. Naturally, the pancakes are served with hot apple topping or cider syrup. Also available are Apple-smoked burger lunches from 11:30am to 3pm. Wagon rides ($3) will take you to the orchards for picking.
Homemade apple pies are baked fresh daily along with Apple Crumb Pie Ice Cream, made in an Amish ice cream freezer. Hot roasted sweet corn is also available.
