Arnette Creek Watering Hole is Now Open on the East Side

Aug 27, 20242 min read

It’s been more than a year since glasses were filled at 7215 E. 22nd St. #101 — the space that formerly housed Hop Street Lounge.

Arnette Creek Watering Hole has officially taken over the taproom near the corner of 22nd Street and Kolb Road, welcoming in locals this past weekend.

“Every corner of Arnette Creek Watering Hole carries a piece of our family’s history,” the family behind the new bar shared. “From the wood at the ranch turned into bar chairs, to the memories we’ve already built here, this place is more than just a bar —it’s our home.”

Arnette Creek Watering Hole’s logo is “especially close” to their hearts. The silhouette in the graphic is a photo of a grandpa and grandson fishing at the creek.

“Our boy was just eight years old then, he’s grown now,” the family shared. “Come experience the warmth and camaraderie that we’ve poured into this place.”

Aside from enjoying a cold one inside the bar, they have a liquor license that allows them to sell some of their spirits to-go. Also, there’s a tequila flight for $10 — it’s a screamin’ deal.

There’s lots to do at the Arnette Creek Watering Hole, too. They have a nice selection of indoor games: pool, cornhole, darts, and other board games.

“From handcrafted furniture to the final coat of paint, every detail was made with love by family and friends.”

The bar is currently closed on Monday, open from noon – 9 p.m. on Tuesday – Thursday, and then from noon – 2 a.m. on Friday – Saturday.

Arnette Creek Watering Hole is located at 7215 E. 22nd St. #101. For more information, follow the bar on Instagram.

Chilaquiles bring together crispy tortilla chips, salsa, eggs, and cheese in one skillet. Tucson cooks have made the dish their own, and each restaurant adds a different twist. Some go heavy on red or green sauce, others split the two, and many top the plate with a fried or poached egg. From a downtown café to a Marana staple, here are the best spots in town to order chilaquiles.
