Fourth Avenue shipping container development The Boxyard quietly opened its bar Friday morning at 238 N. Fourth Ave.
The 12,000-square-foot lot houses 10 repurposed shipping containers. One container currently houses the bar, while other containers will house an additional bar, restaurants, and seating areas.
Seating ranges from shaded patio-controlled areas to the inside of shipping containers with outlets, plus a balcony overlooking Fourth Avenue.
The bar features 15 beer taps. Cans and bottles can be enjoyed at The Boxyard or purchased to go. Wine and spirits are also available.

Stay tuned for additional information and coverage of restaurant concepts joining the fray. Until then, you are able to bring in outside food.
Operating hours are 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. daily.
The Boxyard is located at 238 N. Fourth Ave. Keep up with The Boxyard on Facebook.
