The team at Agustin Kitchen, 100 S. Avenida del Convento #150, is waking up a little earlier these days.
On Monday, April 28, the restaurant launched its new daytime counter service concept — Cafe Agustin — serving fresh pastries, house-baked breads, breakfast, and lunch from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. daily.

If you’ve followed Agustin Kitchen over the years, you know the kitchen has always been about quality ingredients and a strong sense of place. Cafe Agustin takes that same ethos and folds it into an easygoing daytime vibe.
A couple of newcomers coming out of the bakery include the Ramona Farms blue corn blueberry scone, made with stone-milled heirloom corn, house buttermilk, and organic grains, and the house brioche bostock, where buttery sourdough brioche meets frangipane.

Pair any of Cafe Agustin’s house-baked treasures with a warm coffee, and you’re kickin’ the day off on the right foot.
If you’re hungry for something heartier, the menu leans into craveable classics — from a breakfast sandwich on a house bun to crispy snap pea salad and even steak and eggs with chimichurri.

9 a.m. – 2 p.m. daily
- The Breakfast Sandwich ($16) – house bun, egg, arugula, bacon or sausage, cheddar cheese
- Shakshuka ($18) – farm eggs, roasted tomato, sweet pepper, toasted bread
- House Granola Bowl ($15) – Greek yogurt, blueberry, apple, citrus, honey
- Avocado Toast ($15) – house sourdough bread, radishes, olive oil
- Oatman Farms Grain Bowl ($16) – wheat berry, lentil, broccolini, honey yam, radish, farm cheese, tomato, egg
- Wildly Leavened Pancakes ($16) – leavened pancakes, peach vanilla compote, cultured butter
- Crispy Latka with Poached Egg and Lox ($17) – herb creme fraiche, caper, onion, dressed greens
- Ramona Farms Corn Cakes with Mt Tam ($18) – stone-ground heirloom corn, farm egg + chives
- Breakfast Plate ($20) – two eggs any style, Nueske bacon, breakfast potato
- Chicken Salad Sandwich ($20) – roasted chicken, grapes, lettuce, pepperjack, avocado, onion
- Steak and Eggs ($33) – Argentine flank steak, two eggs any style, chermoula
- Shrimp and Pima Club Grits ($28) – heirloom corn, Gulf of Mexico shrimp + house chili crisp
- Smash Burger ($18) – double-patty smashes, American cheese, house brioche, the works
- Chicories Salad ($17) – local chicories, citrus, hummus, pickled mustard seeds
- Little Gem Salad ($16) – green goddess, radishes, chives
- Crispy Snap Pea Salad ($16) – heirloom tomato, shallot vinaigrette, radishes, shaved carrot
- Fish and Chips – Halibut ($28) – New Zealand-style, thick chips, house remoulade, lemon wedge
