Chef Ryan Clark from PY Steakhouse at Casino Del Sol will fly out to New York this week to appear on NBC’s Today Show on Friday, September 9.
Tucson viewers will need to tune in to channel 4 KVOA for the Today Show.
The episode will feature a Tailgate Battle of the Chefs with Clark representing the Arizona Cardinals football team, facing off against a chef (name not yet revealed) representing the New England Patriots.
“They told me there are usually five million viewers,” Clark said in an interview last week. “I’ll have to be both creative and fun.”
Clark will highlight his Tucson-inspired dishes with his signature guacamole from his cookbook Modern Southwest Cooking, alongside tacos with pork braised in Arizona craft beer and his version of Sonoran hot dogs.
We recently chatted with Clark about his favorite kitchen tools, so keep your eyes peeled for the article on Tuesday, September 13.
