The only suitable way to celebrate fall on the way is with Apple Annie’s annual “My-Oh-My Apple Pie” Weekend & Country Craft Fair 2015.
On September 19 and 20 from 8am to 5pm, indulge on all things apple at the Willcox orchard. Apple pie, apple crumb pie ice cream, apple-smoked burgers, apple pie syrup … the list goes on.
Kick off the “My-Oh-My Apple Pie” Festival with the all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast featuring apple pie syrup, served from 7:30 to 10:30am, but save room for apple-smoked burger lunches from 11:30am – 3pm. For dessert, enjoy free apple pie samples as well as homemade Apple Crumb Pie ice cream.
Bring the kids for complimentary wagon rides to the orchard for pick-your-own apples, including Criterion, Braeburn, Red and Golden Delicious, along with Asian Pears and Red and Green Bartlett pears.
Then, when you mistakenly fill up on apple treats too early in the day, you’ll have fruit to make your dessert at home.
If you’re feeling giving or have already progressed to the holiday shopping mindset, local crafters from around Arizona will be present from 8am to 4pm each day with handmade crafts and gifts.
