Slow Food of Southern Arizona and the International Refugee Network are partnering to host United Plates of America at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 25.
The event will feature cuisine from east African country Burundi, prepared by Burundi refugees to promote understanding through sharing a friendly meal.
Pima College Culinary students will assist the refugees with meal preparation.
