Vegan Tucson Night Market is back on Saturday, March 1 from 6 – 10 p.m., returning to the Rillito Park at 4502 N. First Ave. With several vegan food vendors, live music, and an electric ambiance, this event brings together 4,000-5,000 plant-based food lovers for a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.

Brunch Pop-Up With Trash Panda Vegan

Trash Panda Vegan is hosting a special, limited-time vegan brunch pop-up at Slow Body Beer on Sunday, March 2. Starting at 11 a.m., head over to 831 E. 17th St. for a relaxed Sunday with great food, craft beer, and a nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

Food Truck Roll Up
Sunday, March 2
5655 W. Valencia Rd.
The event takes place on Sunday, March 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Casino Del Sol’s AVA Amphitheater (5655 W. Valencia Rd.). Admission is free. We’re making it easier by bringing them all together for a day. Food trucks have always played a huge role in Tucson’s culinary evolution—some even go on to open brick-and-mortar spots.

Mardi Gras Parties in Tucson

Wizarding Out West

This event is for wizards, witches, and muggles of all ages — happening on Sunday, March 9 from 1 – 5 p.m. at 6541 E. Tanque Verde Rd. There’s going to be a magical train ride, a “creatures” petting zoo, live performances, and even the Sorting Hat from Hogwarts.

Marana Rotary Tour de Cookie Bike Ride

Knife Skills Hands-On Cooking Class

In this hands-on class you’ll hone basic knife skills and practice the fundamental cuts–mince, dice, brunoise, bâtonnet and julienne. You’ll practice how to cut a wide range of food items like a head of cabbage, delicate herbs, and onions, with practically no tears!
Harry Potter Cooking Class

Scheduled during the weekend of the Tucson Festival of Books, this hands-on cooking class menu is based upon the seven novel series (and adapted to eight epic films), written by British author J. K. Rowling, about the world’s most famous wizard, Harry Potter.
Sunset Supper at Tucson Village Farm

Working with Chef Bruce Yim, our teens create a four-course meal offering you a five-star dining experience right on the farm. All proceeds from this project will go to support 4-H youth programming at Tucson Village Farm.
Regency Ball Experience

“This splendid offer grants you entrance to a five-hour soirée, complete with a cocktail hour to begin the evening’s festivities. A sumptuous five-course meal awaits, followed by a decadent dessert bar. More about MattAt a very young age, Matt Sterner was gifted with the artistic ability to masterfully roll a burrito to the highest of standards, but the wrapped medley of delicious innards wasn’t his first love. Matt’s first true love was a combination of reading, writing, and creating. He grew up reading comics, the ingredients list of his shampoo and conditioner bottles, choose-your-own-adventure books, and the Scrabble dictionary — something he found useful when challenging his grandmother to a game.
He attended college at New Mexico State University and graduated with a degree in Digital Filmmaking. One of his favorite classes was screenwriting because he became responsible for the story’s birth before it came to life on-screen. After school, Matt took on numerous positions at a local television station in Tucson. From dealing out stories about heartbreak to producing “fluffier” content for a lifestyle broadcast, he learned what it takes to adapt to the many emotions the world of media can stir. Since 2017, Matt has dabbled in the culinary world of Tucson as well as San Diego, California from time to time.
