Tucsonans love watermelon Eegee’s in summer, but Korea has an alternative — with more alcohol — that they deem popular for cooling down. It’s called subak soju.
Subak is Korean for watermelon, while soju is a Korean clear distilled spirit.
Years Asian Bistro & BBQ features their take on the summer cooler, Watermelon Soju.
The simple combination of watermelon, soju, and Sprite soda is made for sharing. Enjoy it with some of their skewers for a night to remember.
Years Asian Bistro & BBQ is located at 625 E. Wetmore Rd., Ste. 109. Keep up with Years Asian Bistro & BBQ on Facebook.
