Bar Crisol blends café culture and cocktail craft in the heart of Tucson’s historic Barrio Viejo. The space serves as a cafe during the day, but transforms into an intimate mezcal-forward bar at night, housed in an 1885 adobe building, complete with vintage typewriters, agave-inspired artwork and low-slung couches to create a warm, inviting ambiance. The drink menu showcases agave spirits, handcrafted cocktails and natural wines, with a deep emphasis on authenticity and terroir. Check out their social media for a weekly agave tasting, where you sample multiple pours and learn about mezcal, sotol, and bacanora in a convivial setting. Bar Crisol is recognized nationally as one of the best places in America to experience mezcal.
