Men’s Journal recently published 10 Best Brunch Spots in America. Tucson locals will be happy to see a familiar name – Hotel Congress’s Cup Cafe.

Well known for their prime downtown location, Cast Iron Baked Eggs, and many other dishes, the cafe was featured alongside notable establishments such as Portland, Oregon’s Clyde Commons, Five Leaves, a Brooklyn eatery, The Friendly Toast in Cambridge, and Boiler House in San Antonio.

The recognition starts 2015 – also Cup Cafe’s 25th anniversary – off with a bang. The Tucson cornerstone offers a hefty selection of diverse dishes and their popularity grows daily with full tables morning, noon, and night.

Standout favorites from Cup Cafe’s brunch menu include:

  • Cast Iron Baked Eggs – Two eggs, ham, leeks, and gruyère cheese, baked in cream, fines herbes, with hotel potatoes, toast
  • The Deposition – Two flapjacks topped with two eggs any style and bacon (add blueberries, strawberries, walnuts or bananas over the top or in the batter)
  • Gunpowder – Turkey chorizo, hotel potatoes, two eggs any style, asadero cheese, stacked in a bowl, with toast
  • Omelet Bar
  • Bloody Mary Bar

The Cup Cafe serves breakfast seven days a week, 365 days a year, and opens at 7am daily.
