After dark, the desert comes alive.

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is hosting a Noche de la Calaveras Street Feast from 5:30 – 10 p.m. on Friday, November 3.

For the Night of the Skulls, enjoy a progressive dinner of traditional Mexican street fare, sugar skull decorating, cultural presentations, and live music by the “Mexican Gypsy Troubadour” Salvador Duran.

This year’s feast honors the animals and plants that make the Museum and Sonoran Desert the speical place it is.

Tickets are $65 in advance, $60 for Museum Members.

Get your tickets fast because spots are limited, and ticket prices will go up to $70 per person on the day of.

Tickets Include:

  • Six food station items
  • Three bar snacks
  • Two drink tickets (alcoholic or specialty non-alcoholic)
  • Access to all activities (except Tequila Tasting)

Do you consider yourself an agave spirits aficionado?

For an additional $15, take part in the guided tasting with a tequila expert, along with a commemorative glass and Baja snacks.

Noche de la Calaveras Street Feast Menu Highlights

  • Deep Mexico Pico with Fresh Tortilla Chips
  • Tamale Bites in a cup
  • Chili Lime Elote
  • Street Tacos
  • Mole and Rice with Calabacitas
  • Churros with Chili Chocolate dipping sauce and Pan de Muertos
  • Bar Snacks
  • Agua Fresca, Champurrado, and Atole

Cultural presentations include a Day of the Dead in Deep History by research social scientist David Yetman, and Essence of Day of the Dead by Graciela B. Robinson.

On top of all of that, explore the newly renovated Agave Garden, view the Day of the Dead altar, and pet the local stingrays.
