The successor for Old Pueblo Grille has finally opened.

Old Pueblo Grille, a Bob McMahon Mexican restaurant at 60 N. Alvernon Way, closed in May 2015. However, the people behind Brother John’s Beer, Bourbon & BBQ recently opened Abuela’s Cocina Mexicana. The name is Spanish for Grandma’s Mexican Kitchen, so customers can expect handmade tortillas and other Mexican classics.

Abuela’s has been soft-open since January 6 with grand opening details to be announced soon. For the week of January 8, Taco Happy Hour begins at 3 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. — the restaurant will operate for the remainder of dinner hours.

Set hours and menu details are also to be announced soon.

Abuela’s Cocina Mexicana is located at 60 N. Alvernon Way. For more information, call (520) 373-5430 or keep up with Abuela’s Cocina Mexicana on Facebook.
