The resort is unpacking something nostalgic for the holiday season.

For a limited time, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort will be featuring an exclusive Bellhop Bar from 5 – 7 p.m. from Tuesday, October 23 to mid-January 2019.

Once you’ve heard the daily ritual of the opening bell, travel back in time as you step towards the bar in the Cascade Lounge. On the outside, it’s clearly a vintage retrofitted steamer trunk, but behind its doors, you’ll be embraced with aged apothecary-style bottles — waiting to pour a locally handcrafted drink.

“We’ve utilized agave and prickly pear syrup from our 100-acre Sonoran desert property to bring you the unique taste of the southwest,” said Martin Charlton, Director of Food and Beverage.

The pre-batched cocktails will be mixed with either Angel’s Envy Bourbon or Hangar One Vodka, and the red or sparkling wine comes from Buena Vista Winery, which is one of the oldest wineries in the U.S.

• Arizona Old Fashioned – Angel’s Envy Bourbon, Agavero, Cointreau, and cherry bitters
• Sunset Prickly Martini – Hangar One Vodka, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, agave, and prickly pear syrup
