Greek delicacies have returned to the University and Fourth Avenue area.

The owner of Opa’s Best Greek American Cuisine has opened the doors to Opa’s Grill on Fourth Avenue and is throwing a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, November 14 – Sunday, November 15.

They recently moved inside the spot that previously housed Athens on 4th Avenue, and if you’ve been to the original location, Opa’s Best, you can expect to see familiar dishes.

However, some new and tasty bites have been added to the rotation as well.

“The new dishes on the grill will be ribeye steak, red snapper fish, and lamb chops,” said Qais Papoutsis, owner of both Opa’s Grill and Opa’s Best Greek American Cuisine.

During the grand opening celebration, Opa’s Grill is taking 20 percent off all meals on Saturday, November 14 – Sunday, November 15. If you’re a student at the University of Arizona, there’s a special perk for you, too.

“We’re currently working on using CatCards as a method of payment,” said Papoutsis.
