Opa's Best Greek American Cuisine

Opa’s Best Greek American Cuisine offers a family-friendly atmosphere. The interior features an open dining room with a bar, creating a casual and inviting environment for guests to enjoy their meals. The menu showcases a variety of popular dishes, including the Classic Gyro Sandwich with rotisserie lamb and beef, served with a side of tzatziki sauce, and the Spicy Chicken Souvlaki Kabob marinated in pepper, thyme, oregano, garlic, and olive oil. Other favorites are the Moussaka, a baked dish with eggplant, zucchini, potatoes, seasoned ground meat, and crème béchamel sauce, and the Roasted Lamb, prepared with fresh pepper, rosemary, and olive oil, served with Greek lemon potatoes and green beans. Opa’s Best also offers a selection of house-made desserts, such as baklava and galaktoboureko.​

@Tortillaschiwas is currently in its soft opening at 914 N. Grande Ave. in Barrio Hollywood, inside the former Grande Tortilla Factory.

Phoenix restaurateurs Armando Hernandez and chef Nadia Holguin, a James Beard-nominated duo originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, are behind the restaurant.

Tortillas Chiwas is currently open Thursdays through Saturdays from 5–10 pm with 38 seats. Reservations are available on OpenTable.
