Borderlands Brewing Company brews up “WOOF!” beer made for dogs

December 28, 2020

By now, you can agree that 2020 has seriously gone to the dogs, so to speak, and if you were to ask a four-legged friend how their year went, they’d probably say it was ruff. However, a new year is upon us and that includes new beers, too.

Now, your pooch can have a drink with you at Borderlands Brewing Company with its new Woof! brew that’s made exclusively for dogs.

The new brew, which is encased in a can that features some of the local dogs you may have seen cruising around the brewery, doesn’t contain alcohol of course, and it’s made out of bone-in pork butt, carrots, celery, ginger, turmeric, basil, and filtered water.

The brewery posted the following on Facebook:

“A brew for your pup! We at Borderlands love dogs so much that we decided to make a ‘beer’ just for them.”

The new beer is available now to enjoy at the brewery or to take home. Also, if your dog wants to stick around and savor the beer at the brewery, just remember that it’s considered BYOB (bring your own bowl).

If it’s something your dog wants to chug at home, try pouring it over their food.
