Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink to Officially Open its Rooftop Dining Area

August 31, 2023
By Matt Sterner

Just in time for the cooler Fall season and right on schedule for cloudy monsoon evenings, Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink is officially opening its rooftop dining area and bar on Friday, September 1.

After a successful soft opening experience earlier this week, the rooftop will open at 6 p.m. on Friday and is on track to be one of downtown’s favorite destinations. The best part: you can order Reilly’s full food and beverage menu from up there.

The rooftop spot isn’t on top of the main dining room and is nestled behind the restaurant right above the indoor beer garden area. Just like the staircase that takes you underground to the basement bar Tough Luck Club, the rooftop dining area has a brand-new staircase leading you up a story above.

The rooftop has several dining tables and chairs, a few larger benches for great conversations, and a couple of bartops to sit at to enjoy the sunset creeping behind downtown Tucson’s skyline. Order your food and drinks up there and it’ll all be sent up from the kitchen down in the main restaurant.

As mentioned earlier, the official grand opening is Friday, September 1.

For the time being, the hours of operation will be 6 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday – Wednesday, 6 – 10 p.m. on Friday – Saturday, 6 – 9 p.m. on Sunday, and closed on Monday.

In addition to Reilly, executive chef Tyler Fenton also oversees the menu at the nearby BATA and Fentonelli’s Pizzeria & Bar on the north side of town.

Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink is located at 101 E. Pennington St. For more information, visit reillypizza.com and follow Reilly Craft Pizza on Instagram.
