Antsy Nancy is Opening a New Location on Oracle Road

"I’m absolutely thrilled."

Since Heidi Yribar opened her workshop/kitchen, Antsy Nancy, at 5655 E. River Rd, folks have been discovering their inner creativity. Cooking classes, charcuterie board tutorials, homemade sangria — you name it. A lot is happening at Antsy Nancy and they’re expanding into a second location inside the Tucson Mall.

The Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance’s (SAACA) Catalyst Creative Collective, a space that has more than 14,000 square feet of cooking, craft, and event space, has teamed up with Antsy Nancy to bring their classes to 4500 N. Oracle Rd. #110.

“The opportunity to partner with SAACA provides an ideal solution as we look to grow and expand our reach,” said Yribar. “I’m being provided a testing ground for opening a second location without the overhead and capital requirements typically associated. Not to mention the marketing resources SAACA provides and the additional exposure we’ll receive from a shared clientele. I’m absolutely thrilled.”

So, classes will still be held at the original spot on River Road — something the team will have no problem with.

Since Antsy Nancy opened in 2021, they’ve held classes at The Highlands, The Gallery, The Lodge at Ventana Canyon, Skyline Country Club, La Paloma Country Club, Tucson Medical Center, Catalina Foothills School District (CARE), The Stone Canyon Club, and The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain.

Now, with two permanent locations, it’s even easier to sharpen your skills!

“We are excited to welcome Antsy Nancy to CATALYST Creative Collective,” said Kevin Larkin, CATALYST Manager. “The variety of creative classes that they offer is such a great fit for the space, we can’t wait to start.”

Antsy Nancy has scheduled the following classes this Spring at the Tucson Mall location:

“Assuming these six classes go well, which we are already seeing a great response, we hope to offer our best-selling, Weekly Summer Camps for kids ages six to 14, from the Tucson Mall location,” said Yribar.
