Mantis Gourmet Chinese Food Reopens its Doors in Marana

March 13, 2024
By Matt Sterner

On Wednesday, March 13, Mantis Gourmet Chinese Food is reopening its doors in Marana after being closed for more than a year.

Heads up: They’ve relocated. The Chinese restaurant isn’t too far away from the original location, though — right across the street, as a matter of fact, at 8295 N. Cortaro Rd. #125. This suite formerly housed Nico’s Tacos.

The restaurant is opening at 11 a.m. and “it might be a little crazy on Wednesday when we open, please forgive us in advance,” the restaurant owners shared. “We are beyond excited to see you.”

The hours of operation are 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Monday, closed on Tuesday, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Wednesday – Saturday, and noon – 8 p.m. on Sunday.

They’ve shared their menu on Facebook, too.

In December 2022, we heard that Mantis was closing on Cortaro Road. The restaurant’s last day was the very last day of that year. The prior location closed because the neighboring dental office had plans to knock down the dividing wall to expand.

Mantis Gourmet Chinese Food will soon open at 8295 N. Cortaro Rd. #125. For more information, follow Mantis on Facebook
