Lotería y Más is all about coming together for a vibrant honoring of Mexican business owners and culture on Wednesday, March 27.
The big celebration is happening from 5 – 8 p.m. at Corbett’s, located at 340 N. Sixth Ave., and will feature fun times while playing Lotería alongside music, food, drinks, vendors, and dancing.
The main purpose of Lotería y Más, though, is to highlight the culture — Lotería being the highlight of the celebration. Participants can test their luck and skill in this traditional Mexican game, adding an element of friendly competition to the festivities.
The event will be hosted by Yasmine Lopez and DJ Century busting out the jams.

More about MattAt a very young age, Matt Sterner was gifted with the artistic ability to masterfully roll a burrito to the highest of standards, but the wrapped medley of delicious innards wasn’t his first love. Matt’s first true love was a combination of reading, writing, and creating. He grew up reading comics, the ingredients list of his shampoo and conditioner bottles, choose-your-own-adventure books, and the Scrabble dictionary — something he found useful when challenging his grandmother to a game.
He attended college at New Mexico State University and graduated with a degree in Digital Filmmaking.
