La Botana Tacos is Now Open on Wetmore Road

The Mexican food restaurant and popular Happy Hour spot, La Botana Tacos, left its former location at 3200 N. First Ave. and has reopened its doors at 565 E. Wetmore Rd.

The restaurant isn’t too far from its original location on First Avenue. The new spot has the same familiar menu many have grown to love over the years, there’s a shaded patio, plenty of TVs to catch a game, and their grande margaritas are still big enough to require two hands.

La Botana Tacos’ new spot is inside the building that formerly housed an Applebee’s, which is now a duplex — Church’s Chicken is on the other side of the partition.

Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, bacon-wrapped jalapeños — whatever you desire, the staff is ready to take your order. While you’re there, don’t forget to enjoy La Botana’s signature bean dip with chips. And you won’t be locked into one kind of salsa either — the salsa bar features a variety of heat and flavors.

The current hours of operation are 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Monday – Thursday, 11 – 10 p.m. on Friday – Saturday, and closed on Sundays.

La Botana will be reopening at 565 E Wetmore Rd. To keep up with the latest, follow La Botana on Instagram and visit labotanatacos.com.
