Robert’s Restaurant Closes & Rancheros Carniceria is Moving in on Grant Road

Before the summer season rolled in, Robert’s Restaurant temporarily closed its doors at 3301 E. Grant Rd. for renovations. It turns out that the restaurant that had been in business for decades is never reopening.

However, there’s some good news! The local meat market and restaurant Rancheros Carniceria is coming soon.

Rancheros Carniceria, which has two other locations at 7627 E. Speedway Blvd. and 16142 N. Oracle Rd., is a butcher shop but also serves tacos, housemade tortillas to-go, freshly-made salsas, and produce like tomatoes, jalapeños, and other veggies to take home.

Owner Luis Lopez purchased the building and they’ve already begun demolition on the interior. They’re hoping the remodel won’t take any longer than five months — stay tuned for a grand opening date. Fingers crossed that they can begin welcoming folks in before the end of the year.

We reached out to the folks behind Robert’s Restaurant but didn’t get a response. The website has since been taken down, too.

In the end, when one door closes, another opens for a local business to shine!

Stay tuned for an official opening date.

Rancheros Carniceria is located at 7627 E. Speedway Blvd., 16142 N. Oracle Rd., and the soon-to-be 3301 E. Grant Rd. For more information, follow Rancheros Carniceria on Facebook.
