After years as a roaming food cart, the cheesesteak concept recently opened a brick-and-mortar at 4652 E. Speedway Blvd. The new location gives the longtime mobile business a consistent home base while it continues catering and event service around town.
Owner William Miller earned Willy’s Philly’s a following at breweries, fundraisers, and community events. It also remains plugged into Tucson’s charitable scene; the business participated in community fundraisers such as Woofdown Wednesday, donating a portion of sales to local causes. It also periodically hosts hot wing contests.
