Whether it be a craft beer taproom or a tasting room offering wine or distilled spirits like whiskey, Tucson has a splendid selection. Heck, some of the following taprooms offer wine and craft beer.
Also, the following taprooms/tasting rooms don’t include local businesses that are more restaurant-forward, are local breweries (check out our other guide for that), or bars that specialize in serving all types of beverages.
The Toraño Family relocated to Arizona in 2023, opening their flagship tasting room in central Tucson. Out on the patio, you can catch a sweet sunset if you time it out just right.
Casa Video has gone through a few changes since then, like partitioning the building so other businesses could set up shop (Marvelous Vintage and Kira Kira). Still, the video shop has at least 50,000 movie titles in stock to accompany its 20 beers on tap and hundreds of bottles and cans in the coolers. Plus, Casa has been a big supporter of local food trucks and has arguably one of the most up-to-date calendars in Tucson.
Don’t be distracted by the multiple Nintendo and Super Nintendo setups — Craft offers a solid stock of beer and wine to-go. Also, you can order Detroit-style pizza (whole or by the slice), pasta, salads, and some of the best breadsticks in town from Transplant Pizza.

To many, it’s known as an escape — a place where you can enjoy a cold beer, get lost in an intriguing conversation, and catch a fresh breeze outside on the patio. They think of it as their getaway from the everyday grind. Some plainly call it “Hop Shop.” No matter what it means to you or what you tend to call it, Tucson Hop Shop is a wonderful spot to simply hang out.
