Tucson’s Angry Crab Shack location at 1365 W. Grant Rd. announced it will reopen on Friday, January 10 under new ownership.
Franchise owners Matthew Prentice and Josh Arnold started with Angry Crab Shack in 2015 as servers. Now, the duo owns Angry Crab Shack locations in Surprise and Tucson.
“As veterans of the foodservice industry, Matt and I are committed to delivering fresh high-quality seafood, outstanding service and everything beyond,” Arnold said in a press release. “The most important task for us right now is getting back to our true roots by embracing the vibrant, energetic brand and our core concept at this location.”
Angry Crab Shack now has nine Arizona locations. The company is evolving as a national franchise brand and aims to open 100 locations across the country by 2023, a press release stated.
“We believe in our team here at the Angry Crab Shack Tucson and look forward to continue serving the community,” Prentice said in a press release. “We feel blessed for this opportunity to revive this great location and share our passion through a memorable culinary adventure.”
Operating hours for the Tucson location will be 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday through Saturday.
