If there are three things Tucson can’t get enough of this year, it’s craft beer, bicycles, and barbecue. This September, Hotel Congress is providing an entire weekend dedicated to this trifecta.
The three-day celebration, aptly titled Born & Brewed, kicks off with the 4th Annual Tucson’s Beer Cup, continues with the hotel’s inaugural Bikes, Brew, and BBQ pub tour and party, and concludes with Beer Brunches.
Tucson’s Beer Cup, starting at 7 pm on Friday, September 18, features ten local breweries and their best craft beers. For $30 (in advance), ticket holders will receive a commemorative glass, access to the Cup Café gastro-pub snack bar, and the chance to sample 20 craft beers from local breweries. LeeAnne Savage & The Curveball Cowboys will be performing.
Special hotel room packages are available. Tickets can be purchased the day of for $35.

On Saturday, September 19, Hotel Congress is partnering with Living Streets Alliance, Yelp, Bookmans Sports Exchange, and The Arizona Party Bike for an entire afternoon of revelry. From 1 to 5pm, enjoy the Bikes, Brew and BBQ party, complete with a bike tour of five downtown pubs.
Ticket holders receive (5) 8 oz. samples of beer, a hefty plate of Hotel Congress barbecue, a commemorative bag, access to the beer garden with games, live music, and lounge space.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of.

As any veteran of a Hotel Congress party knows, the best way to fight the hangover is to pick back up with brunch.
The Cup Café and Maynards Kitchen will help wrap up the weekend with beer brunches on Sunday, September 20. Guests will have the option to choose from a variety of new beer pairings to go with items on their existing menus.
