The pizza. It never ends. But apparently there’s a reason – it’s National Pizza Month!
In honor of the holiday, Sauce Pizza + Wine is encouraging you to ask yourself: how would you express your own identity in a pizza?
While you mull over that, now is your chance to build “the perfect pizza” for a chance to win a $200 gift card to Sauce itself. You have until October 18 to submit your recipe by clicking the ‘Contest’ app on the Sauce Facebook page, or at any of the three Sauce locations in Tucson.
Corporate chef Christopher Christiano will select a winner based on taste, flavor and creativity. The winning pizza will be featured at all Sauce locations from November 1-26. In addition to the $200 gift card, Sauce will also donate $1 of every pizza sold to a charity of the winner’s choosing.
“Pizza is one of the most entertaining foods to personalize,” said Christopher Christiano, corporate chef at Sauce. “We thought this would be a fun and delicious way for guests to show off their culinary skills and perhaps even teach us professional chefs a thing or two.”
