Celebrate 420 with Prime Leaf Dispensary Deals & Michael Montoya Collab

Apr 15, 20253 min read

With 420 is just around the corner, Prime Leaf Dispensary is pulling out all the stops to make this cannabis holiday one to remember. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or new to the community, Prime Leaf has something special in store for everyone. This year, they’re offering unbeatable deals and teaming up with local artist Michael Montoya to bring a creative twist to the celebration.

Spend $50 and Get a Free Artist-Designed Shirt

As if the 420 deals weren’t enough, Prime Leaf has partnered with local Tucson artist Michael Montoya to create a one-of-a-kind t-shirt that celebrates Tucson and the cannabis lifestyle. Montoya says he enjoys creating fun Tucson-themed mash-ups for designs he features at his brick-and-mortar store, Sparrows and Somberos.

“I was really hoping to include an element of hometown pride with this [Prime Leaf] design,” Montoya said. “Something that would speak to people who live here in Tucson.”

The shirt features a design inspired by Tucson’s desert landscape and the local cannabis culture.

“I started with drawing some saguaros in the desert,” Montoya said. “I randomly put a little joint in one of its arms and my wife loved it and suggested all of the saguaros should have joints.”

Why This Collaboration Matters

Prime Leaf’s collaboration with Montoya is more than just a cool perk for customers—it’s a celebration of Tucson’s creative and cannabis communities coming together.

“As a legacy Tucson dispensary, we’ve been proudly rooted in the community since 2013— and teaming up with Michael Montoya for our 4/20 tee was a high-light for us this year,” said Leah Rhey of Prime Leaf Dispensary. “His bold, unique style captures the spirit of the desert. We love any chance to collaborate with hometown creatives and keep the arts alive and thriving in the Old Pueblo, and collaborations like this are our favorite kind of joint effort.”

Supporting local artists like Michael is a cornerstone of Prime Leaf’s mission to uplift the Tucson community while providing top-quality cannabis products.

Here’s the best part: any purchase of $50 or more on 4/20 (April 20th) gets you this exclusive shirt for free. Shirts will be given away while supplies last, so get there early on April 20th.

Opened in 2023, @kabulcorner is Tucson’s only Afghan restaurant, created to provide jobs, community, and a taste of home for Afghan families who made Tucson their new home.

Today, Sediq Haidari and his family serve traditional Afghan dishes like bolani, mantou, Kabuli palaw, fresh tandoori naan, and house-made chaka, while preserving recipes and traditions rooted in Afghanistan’s rich history.

With its warm hospitality, authentic food, and strong sense of community, Kabul Corner has become a little piece of home in the Sonoran Desert. ❤️

“These dishes are famous not only in Afghanistan, but in neighboring countries like Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Iran, and even parts of China. It sits right between Indian and Arabic food.” Sediq Haidari
