Lights, camera, action. The much-anticipated Film Fest Tucson is almost here.
The fourth-annual event, which takes place from Thursday, October 10 – Saturday, October 12, has a jam-packed program with almost 50 film screenings in downtown Tucson. With three indoor and one outdoor location, you’ve got plenty to take advantage of.
In addition to the variety of films (including narrative, documentaries, and special films), look out for the special guests (including award-winning actors, directors, writers, and producers).
Why Film Fest?
The local festival brings filmmakers and our community together around a commonality — a love of storytelling and cinema. In doing so, it showcases Southern Arizona’s rich culture and heritage with a wider audience.

All-access pass: what is it?

Join our hosts, Tucson Foodie’s own Adam Lehrman and Yelp Tucson’s Isabella Joffroy for an evening of food-focused films under the stars on Friday, October 11.
“Food on Film,” a free outdoor screening event on the North Lawn of the Children’s Museum, celebrates local cuisine and global food. With three documentaries, a narrative, and Q&A with Favio Winehouse, director of El Otro Tucson, you’re in for a delicious viewing experience. Bring a chair, blanket or seat of your choice and get comfortable.
