Zio Peppe is coming in hot this summer with its wine dinner series!
Next up: an imaginative cross-pollination of Italian cuisine and Chinese cuisine on Tuesday, July 23 at 6 p.m.
Chefs and owners Mat Cable and Devon Sanner have titled this their “Marco Polo Dinner,” in tribute to the Venetian merchant whose travels along the Silk Road in Asia in the late 13th century created opportunities for the confluence of European and Asian cooking.
In that spirit, Zio Peppe has crafted a four-course dinner incorporating Asian ingredients and flavor profiles in Italian dishes, as well as working Italian components into traditional Chinese preparations.
Also, the meal will have wine pairings for each course!
Seats at the table are $80 per person (plus tax and gratuity).
Reservations can be made with a credit card by calling (520) 888-4242 or by booking through OpenTable.
