Tonight, Penca is featuring a four course Mexican Independence Day Tasting menu for $45. Each course is paired with one of Penca’s delicately crafted cocktails (except for the first course which features sparkling Malvasia).

Here’s what you’ll get:
First Course
- Chilled Corn Soup with Cilantro Oil. Paired with Sparkling Malvasia
Second Course
- Pickled Beet and Nopal Salad with Pepitas and Cotija. Paired with Blanco Tequila, Apple shrub, sherry, and orange
Third Course (Choice of One)
- Stuffed Squash with Black Bean Puree and Grilled Nopal
- Pan Seared Mahi Mahi with Mole Amarilo
- Ancho Glazed Short ribs with Red Hominy
- Paired with Reposado, brandy, port, Peychaud’s bitters
Dessert (Choice of One)
- Mescal and lime granita
- Mini Churro with Chocolate Grenache
