Downtown Tucson’s Playground Bar & Lounge has launched two new menus to appeal to downtown’s hungry late-night crowd.
Longtime fans of HUB’s sister bar on the corner will have something new to celebrate with the 2014 NFL and U of A season as the three-year-old multi-level bar on Congress Street launches two new menus: a full new dinner menu and a Game-Time Menu.
Not that business is hurting.
Said Playground and Hub Restaurant & Creamery Director of Operations Sandy Ford, “Walk-in traffic has never been better at Playground, and these are usually the slow months. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store.”

Highlights from the new menu include:
- Veggie Nachos – Green & Yellow Squash, Tomato, Red Onion, Corn, Chipotle Spiced Adobo Beans, Nacho Cheese & Queso Fresco. Add Grilled Chicken + 4 • steak + 6
- Fried Zucchini Sticks – Parmesan, Panko Encrusted, Lemon Zest, Ranch Dipping sauce
- Bruschetta – Tomato, Basil, Shaved Parmesan
- Chicken and French Toast – House Made Chicken Tenders, French Toast Sticks, Wing Sauce, Local Fig Preserve with Maple Syrup
- Taco Salad – Adobo Spiced Ground Beef, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese and Habanero Crema on a Bed of Tortilla Chips

- Beef and Blue Salad – Flank Steak, Roasted Mushrooms, Bibb Lettuce, Cherry Tomato, Shaved Onion, Blue Cheese, Red Wine Vinaigrette
- PG Ripper – Deep Fried Hebrew National, Ketchup, Dijon, House Made Relish
- Steak Sandwich – Flank Steak, Swiss Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Roasted Garlic, Habanero Aioli on Ciabatta
- PG Burger – 100% Grass Fed Angus Beef, Bibb lettuce, Tomato, Shaved Onion, Red Bell Pepper Aioli
