Food & Wine Magazine Names Presta Coffee Roasters Best Coffee in Arizona

Mar 26, 20181 min read

Tucson’s Presta Coffee Roasters just earned some national attention.

Food & Wine published The Best Coffee in Every State on Friday with Presta as its pick for Arizona:

“One of those towns that got lucky, relatively early on, Arizona’s second city still knows coffee best, at least around these parts. Right now, the city is all about this super-mod operation, featuring two high-design hangouts—one at Presta’s roasting plant, the other inside the quite chic Mercado San Agustin, these days one of Tucson’s favorite gathering places, and for good reason.”

For its honorable mention, Food & Wine chose Futuro in Phoenix.

Presta Coffee Roasters is located at 2502 N. 1st Ave. #100 and 100 S. Avenida del Convento. For more information, visit prestacoffee.com.

@istanbultucson is expanding with a second location, @istanbulmediterraneanexpress, at 5660 W. Cortaro Farms Rd.

The fast-casual spot will feature about 75% of the original location’s menu, plus two exclusive dishes: build-your-own Turkish stuffed baked potatoes, known as Kumpir, and fresh-ground doner made in-house. The falafel plate and stuffed potatoes can also be made vegan.

“The first restaurant taught us what our customers love most, so at Cortaro we’re focusing the menu around our most popular dishes while making the experience a little more casual and convenient. Most importantly, we’ve learned that no matter how much we grow, the quality of our food has to stay high every single day.” — Kamran Esar
