Mama Louisa’s Italian Restaurant is throwing a Sierra Nevada beer pairing dinner from 6 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23.
If that doesn’t already entice you, chef Michael Elefante has invited over Mat Cable of Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria to handcraft the delicious menu.
There are going to be four courses, each of which are paired with four of Sierra Nevada’s brews — including the Bigfoot Barley Wine Ale. The beast is packed with whole-cone Pacific Northwest hops, is vintage dated, and delivers a taste great enough to bring the Sasquatch out of hiding.

First Course
- Root Vegetable Bisque – with chilies and fried salsify
- Paired with the Otra Vez Agave Lime Sour
Second Course
- Burnt Flour Stuffed Shell – with beef cheek confit
- Paired with the Sierra Veza
Third Course
- Duck Braciola – with pickled mushroom risotto and charred ginger emulsion
- Paired with the Hazy Little Thing IPA
Fourth Course
- Dulce de Leche Stracciatella Nutella Semifreddo
- Paired with the Bigfoot Barley Wine Ale
