For the second year in a row, Tucson has won the title of CraftBeer.com’s Great American Beer Bar in Arizona. The award honors one beer bar from each state based on reader votes regarding atmosphere, staff, beer selection, and special events.
While the 2016 award went to Scottsdale’s Fate Brewing Company (now McFate Brewing Company), the 2017 Arizona title went to Tucson with Tucson Hop Shop. This year, Tap & Bottle was voted the winner.
“We are honored and thrilled to be named as Arizona’s Best Beer Bar,” Tap & Bottle co-owner Rebecca Safford said in a press release. “A big shout out to our awesome customers and staff for making T&B a special spot for beer lovers in Tucson.”
Tap & Bottle, owned by husband-and-wife duo Scott and Rebecca Safford, opened its first location in downtown Tucson in June 2013. Tap & Bottle North opened in July 2017.
