On Wednesday March 25, from 4:30pm to 6pm, Tucson Foodie and Sifu Kelley Graham of the Urban Retreat Center will host the first Healthy Happy Hour at Goodness Fresh Food & Juice Bar at 1011 N. Tyndall Avenue.

University Medical Center Cardiology Clinic Director Dr. Kwan Lee, who did a residency and fellowship at the Mayo Clinic will speak briefly about heart health and lifestyle, as well as take questions from attendees, while Sifu Kelley Graham will speak about mindfulness meditation, food for weight management, and how to achieve more enjoyment from meals.

Goodness Fresh Food & Juice Bar will provide samples of a number of items from their mostly heart healthy menu such as fresh pressed juices, smoothies, wraps, salads, bowls, and more. Regular sized items will also be available at special discount prices during the happy hour.

Space is limited to 25. Those interested in attending will need to RSVP at urban-retreat.org.

For more information or to RSVP, visit Healthy Happy Hour at urban-retreat.org.

Tucson’s barbecue options range from food trucks to full-service dining rooms. Some focus on classic Texas-style plates with butcher paper and simple sides. Others experiment with fusion dishes that blend barbecue with Mexican and Southwestern flavors. This variety gives diners plenty of options, whether they want a quick lunch or a sit-down meal.
