Randy Williams, most well-known as R Dub! and the host of Sunday Night Slow Jams moved to Tucson at the impressionable age of 15.
While R Dub! is now a world traveler with countries like Algeria and Ghana under his belt, he still has a soft spot for tacos and Sonoran hot dogs. A big, bubbling trench of Queso Suizo at La Parilla Suiza, trips to Eegee’s and the south location of BK Tacos are among his favorites whenever he’s in Tucson.
Sunday Night Slow Jams started in 1994 and is now available in over 100 cities, including Tucson’s 97.5 The Vibe.
Today, R Dub! lives in San Diego, but visits Tucson often to eat. You might stumble into him at your favorite taqueria.
