The 53rd annual Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair is right around the corner, waiting to delight its visitors, shoppers, and most importantly, the eaters.
The winter season’s festivities will have plenty of edible items to get your hands on beginning at 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, December 9 – Saturday, December 10 and from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 11.
This year’s winter fair will have more than 350 artists, local Fourth Avenue merchants, sponsor booths, a tremendous line-up of musicians, Santa Claus, Christmas Carolers from Old Tucson Studio, and beer.
It can be difficult to decide what to eat while inhaling aromas from several different angles, but luckily, Tucson Foodie has your back and we’ve listed out all of the food vendors hangin’ around throughout the weekend.

What’s new this year?
New this year will be the return of the beloved Buskers, from Tarot card readers to caricatures, there will be many unique experiences to take advantage of. In addition, the Street Fair has teamed up with Cumulus Radio station at the Fifth Street stage with an incredible line-up of local bands from all genres. The Seventh street stage will offer a variety of community acts with bands and dance troupes.
There’s going to be a free shuttle service provided from the Pennington Street Garage. The Fourth Avenue Merchants Association also recommends parking along the modern streetcar line and using Sun Link Streetcar.

More about MattAt a very young age, Matt Sterner was gifted with the artistic ability to masterfully roll a burrito to the highest of standards, but the wrapped medley of delicious innards wasn’t his first love. Matt’s first true love was a combination of reading, writing, and creating. He grew up reading comics, the ingredients list of his shampoo and conditioner bottles, choose-your-own-adventure books, and the Scrabble dictionary — something he found useful when challenging his grandmother to a game.
He attended college at New Mexico State University and graduated with a degree in Digital Filmmaking. One of his favorite classes was screenwriting because he became responsible for the story’s birth before it came to life on-screen. After school, Matt took on numerous positions at a local television station in Tucson. From dealing out stories about heartbreak to producing “fluffier” content for a lifestyle broadcast, he learned what it takes to adapt to the many emotions the world of media can stir. Since 2017, Matt has dabbled in the culinary world of Tucson as well as San Diego, California from time to time.
