Ren Coffeehouse, located in St. Philip's Plaza, offers a tranquil setting with both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior features a modern aesthetic with round white ceiling lamps and shiny metallic accent. The shaded patio, surrounded by lush greenery, provides a relaxing space. Popular menu items include the Pear and Fig sandwich, Green Goddess Sandwich, and Breakfast Salad. They also opened a standalone bakery to showcase their baked treats. The café also offers a variety of house-made pastries and unique beverages like the Lavender Lemonade and Mushroom Latte.

José Contreras, chef and owner of @Ameliastucson, is headed to New York City to cook alongside chef Alam Méndez of Washington, D.C.‘s Apapacho Taqueria for a collaborative dinner at the James Beard Foundation’s Platform at Pier 57. The Aug. 11 dinner will celebrate the culinary traditions of Sonora and Oaxaca through a multi course menu centered on heirloom corn, traditional masa, and coastal flavors.
