Anyone who has survived a Tucson summer knows the best ways to get out of the heat and cool down.
One favorite method among locals is sipping a refreshing, ice cold drink in an air-conditioned restaurant or shaded patio. And, for many, that means margaritas.
Reforma Cocina Y Cantina has introduced two all-day summertime promotions. Margarita Monday, which offers guests half price on seven different margaritas, and Tequila Tuesday, which allows guests half-off Reforma’s impressive and extensive tequila list of over 257 varieties.
Here are just a few options you’ll have to choose from in addition to the traditional Margarita de la Casa (regularly $8):
Tequila Tuesday, inspired by UPH’s successful Whiskey Wednesday, offers guests half-price access to Reforma’s entire selection of 257 different tequilas and mezcals. Ranging in price from $4 up to the $125 an ounce Deleon Leona, tequila and mezcal is sold by the ounce for the promotion, offering patrons the opportunity to taste a wider range of Reforma’s extensive selection.
“Tequila Tuesday is a time when people can come and enjoy tequila and mezcal they wouldn’t normally try,” said Reforma and Union Public House partner Steve Stratigouleas. “This gives people a way to expand their palate. Tequila is an artisanal spirit and there are so many varieties available.”
In addition, happy hour, dubbed “Hora Feliz” at Reforma, is offered daily from 3pm to 6pm and from 10pm to 11pm and includes specials on beer, cocktails, and food.
