Ever since opening downtown, local brewery Pueblo Vida has become a popular choice for craft beer lovers.

On August 17, fans will have an opportunity to enjoy Pueblo Vida’s Bavarian Hefewiezen, Northwest IPA and Breakfast Stout paired with dishes from one of Tucson’s most popular restaurants.

Union Public House at St. Phillip’s Plaza is hosting the first Pueblo Vida beer dinner. The four-course menu is overflowing with beer-influenced dishes, from carpaccio with fried hops and capers to an oatmeal cookie with “hopped chocolate.”

With main course choices like 10-Day Barley Demicorned Beef with boiled rooster potatoes or Charbroiled Steak with tots and smoked bleu cheese, you certainly won’t leave hungry.

$55/person. Reservations required.

When @ginzatucson opened in 2008, it became the first restaurant in Tucson to feature an izakaya style menu, bringing Japan’s popular shareable dining experience to the city. Today, it’s still the only restaurant in town with a dedicated izakaya menu, along with one of Tucson’s largest curated selections of sake, Japanese beer, and shochu.

In 2018, the couple expanded again with @raijinramen, Tucson’s first restaurant dedicated entirely to ramen. Known for its rich tonkotsu broths and seasonal specialties, Raijin helped pave the way for the city’s growing ramen scene.

From fresh fish flown in daily from Japan and California to chef’s choice omakase experiences, Ginza continues to showcase authentic Japanese cuisine while Jun and Diana regularly travel to Japan to bring back the latest culinary trends.
