During the February 18 cast of On the Menu Live! with Matt Russell, Tap & Bottle officially announced they are opening a second location in northwest Tucson this summer.

“We chose the location because of a lot of feedback from customers,” said Rebecca Safford, co-owner of Tap & Bottle. “We’ve been looking for a while.”

Tap & Bottle North will reside in a 3,ooo-square-foot space in the Cottonwood Plaza at 7254 N. Oracle Rd.

Additionally, it will feature outdoor seating along the front and south side of the building with garage doors that open up for easy access.

“I want to drink beer outside,” Safford said. “We might as well enjoy our wonderful weather.”

With an extra thousand square feet over the original location, the interior will feature a private event room, three televisions, and an extensive bottle shop. The rotating tap list will feature 30 beers and 8 wines.

While events will be hosted regularly, Tap & Bottle North doesn’t plan on hosting food trucks.

“We’ll be highlighting the local businesses around us like Tucson Tamale Company and Truland Burgers & Greens,” Safford said.

Operating hours will begin similarly to the original location, but will change as needed. The area’s lunch crowd might justify an earlier opening, Safford said.

Tap & Bottle is located at 403 N. 6th Ave. For more information, call (520) 344-8999 or visit thetapandbottle.com.
