Where there’s smoke, there’s a batch of green chiles roasting over an open fire.

The Rincon Institute is hosting the Roasted Chile Festival at Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, September 16.

It’s your chance to purchase poblano and Anaheim peppers grown locally right here in Arizona.

The Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market is located in the scenic Rincon Valley between Saguaro National Park Rincon Mountain District and Colossal Cave Mountain Park.

It’s the perfect opportunity to bring out the entire family, and smell the intoxicating scent of roasted chiles.

Festival Highlights:

  • Chile roasting
  • Locally grown, pesticide-free produce and fruit
  • Artisans and crafters
  • Beer garden
  • Activities for the kids

Enjoy live music by The Guilty Bystanders and Johnny Bencomo as you shop around the market.

Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market is located at 12500 E. Old Spanish Trail. For more information, call (520) or visit the Facebook Event Page.
