The Gastronomic Union of Tucson (GUT), a team of chefs from different Tucson restaurants, has partnered with TEDxTucson to wrap up their summer dinner series with The Block Party on Broadway from 3 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 1.

While previous dinners were sit-down affairs within the Carriage House, the Block Party will be in Carriage House’s parking lot on the corner of Broadway Boulevard and Arizona Avenue

This time around, the event will feature four whole local pigs prepared in different styles by four different chefs. Additionally, a plethora of side dishes and desserts will be prepared by 20 chefs.

Beer samples will be provided by Barrio Brewing Co., Crooked Tooth Brewing Co., Dillinger Brewing Company, and Pueblo Vida Brewing Company.

The party will also be bumping with live entertainment by DJ Herm and DJ Alias. A percentage of the proceeds from the event will go to TEDxTucson.

Adult tickets are $40 and include all-you-can-eat food and four beer samples. Children under 15 can get all they can eat for $12.50. To purchase tickets, visit The Block Party on Broadway on Eventbrite.
