Fast-casual meal-in-a-bowl restaurant chain Rush Bowls opened its first Tucson location on Monday, March 4.

Andrew Pudalov founded the restaurant in Boulder, Colorado in 2004 after leaving a career in New York’s financial scene.

“Our number one priority is 100 percent all-natural nutrition, which makes Rush Bowls different from other grab-and-go concepts,” Pudalov said in a press release. “Rush Bowls’ meals are crafted from the finest fruits and vegetables, with fresh toppings like organic granola, hand-grinded peanut butter and jam made in-house to ensure the highest quality and taste for our customers.”

The 1,100-square-foot space at 1058 N. Campbell Ave. is also Arizona’s first location. At least two additional locations are scheduled to be owned and operated by Brian Seay.

“I believe that eating healthy should be easy for everyone, and when I came across Rush Bowls I really resonated with the mission of providing quick health to all ages,” Seay said in a press release. “Rush Bowls has garnered a strong following in Colorado and beyond, and we are confident that it is a perfect fit for Tucson.”

Rush Bowls offers a variety signature bowls and all-natural smoothies made with fruit and vegetable bases. Vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free options are on the menu as well. Additionally, all menu items can be custom-made to cater for any dietary needs.

Currently, Rush Bowls has over 100 restaurants in various stages of development throughout the United States.
