Noodleholics has just one vegan entree, but whoa nelly, it’s a treat.
The Sizzling Garlic Noodles features house-made wheat noodles topped with sesame seed, minced garlic, Sichuan peppercorn, chili powder, and green onion. House special hot oil is poured searing-hot over the top, releasing the intense aromas of the peppers and garlic. Chinese black vinegar balance the richness with its sharpness, while the light sweetness helps temper the intense heat. Slightly bitter bok choy helps round out this complete package of a meal.
Although the pool of lip-tingling chili oil at the bottom may seem like too much for some, don’t let it go to waste. Maybe don’t slurp what’s left at the bottom, but bring it home to dress up a rice or noodle bowl.
They’re closed on Mondays, so pick any other day of the week to get your fill.
