Valentine’s Day Dinner Options for 2020

Love is in the air as several Tucson restaurants prepare romantic dinners.

For the love of food, take your date to one of these restaurants for a delightful time.

If you’re looking for a night out on the town with your significant other, you’re in for a treat once you glance over these enticing menus. Some are positioned on the “fine dining” side of the table, while other restaurants are hosting a more casual experience.

Also, if you’re looking for something to sweeten your Valentine’s Day experience, check out some of the chocolate and beer pairing events happening around Tucson.

Agustin Kitchen

Agustin Kitchen is inviting you to celebrate Valentine’s Day in style.

They’ll be serving up a four-course prix fixe dinner that includes Lobster Bisque, Filet Mignon, Halibut, Oysters, sweet treats, and more.

Seats are $75 per person, or $100 if you’d like wine pairings, and reservations are recommended.

El Berraco

Have you ever eaten inside a restaurant that looks like a submarine parked in the desert?

El Berraco is whipping up a three-course meal for Valentine’s Day with live music and plenty of romantic vibes. The menu includes three separate three-course meals, so choose the one you’d prefer the most.

Cafe a la C’art

This meal is destined to make the romance flourish.

The restaurant is offering a three-course meal, but you’ve got more than one option for each course. The menu features Grilled Filet Mignon, Roasted Brussels Pancetta, Shrimp Bisque Chive Crema, White Chocolate Ruby Dome Torte, and more.

One of Tucson’s newest restaurants is hosting a special Valentine’s Day dinner for couples.

You’ll be able to share an appetizer, choose your own entree, share a dessert, and then split a bottle of wine.

Shared Appetizers (choice of)
  • Hummus Trio
  • Charred Broccolini
  • Calamari Fritti
Entrees (choice of)
  • Petite Tenderloin and Lobster Tail – with mashed potatoes, and grilled lemon, blood and fennel beurre blanc with fennel pollen garnish
  • Spanish Paella – with chicken, shrimp, andouille sausage, bell peppers, arborio rice, onion, saffron, and smoked paprika
  • Wild Mushroom and Pesto Gnocchi – with sauteed wild mushrooms, garlicky pesto, and charred patty pan squash
Shared Desserts (choice of)
  • Honeycomb Creme Brulee
  • Lovers Triple Chocolate Mousse
  • Red Wine Poached Pear – with vanilla bean ice cream, spun sugar, and red wine reduction

It’s a very special Valentine’s Day at The Coronet.

Crooked Tooth Brewing Company

The brewery is hosting a Vegan Valentine’s Day four-course meal with Geronimo’s Revenge.

Each course will be paired with one of their brews and seating is on a first come first serve basis. The menu includes dishes such as Roasted Portabella Benedict, Chicken Fried Cauliflower, and Yellow Curry and Pumpkin PurĂ©e. Check out the full menu at Crooked Tooth’s Facebook event page.

Cup Cafe inside of Hotel Congress is offering a prix fixed dinner and a burlesque show at Club Congress.

The dinner includes items such as a Butternut Squash Bisque, Braised Short Rib, Seared Sea Bass, and more. The burlesque show with Lola Torch and the Torchbearers begins at 8:30 p.m.

DOWNTOWN Kitchen + Cocktails is serving up a delicious Valentine’s Day dinner starting at 5 p.m.

The Dutch Eatery & Refuge

The Dutch is offering a Valentine’s Day menu from Tuesday, February 11 – Sunday, February 16.

The special menu includes dishes such as a Champagne Salad, Prime Rib, Crab and Shrimp Etouffee, and a Dark Chocolate Torte. Although, there’s plenty to drink, too, with options like the First Kiss Martini, Love Potion, and more.

The wood-baked pizza spot is offering a few deals on Valentine’s Day — depending on when you stop by.

  • 6:30 – 8 p.m. : Get a salad, pizza, pasta, two glasses of Prosecco for $50
  • 8:30 – close : Half off all bottles of wine

Festa Buffet inside Casino Del Sol is dishing out a steak and seafood buffet for Valentine’s Day.

Tickets are $25 per person and this year’s feast also has an option to add a Martini and Rossi for an additional $3.

Kingfisher Bar & Grill is offering a special a la cartĂ© menu this Valentine’s Day from 5 – 11 p.m.

Every year, the restaurant goes all in with their menu that includes guest favorites like the New England Clam Chowder, Marinated Grilled Octopus, Grilled Hawaiian Ahi Tuna, Smoke Roasted and Grilled Ribeye of Buffalo, an oyster bar, and more.

The Cascade Lounge is serving a three-course dinner that includes Scallops, Pork Osso Bucco, and a choice of dessert. In addition, you’ll be able to taste the Prickly Pear Potion cocktail while listening to local music by Corey Spector.

Flying V Bar & Grill

The bar and grill is also have a three-course dinner that features Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, New York Strip Steak with Broiled Lobster Tail, and Chocolate Pavlova.

The Parish

The Parish is hosting a “Pulp Fiction” Valentine’s Day dinner this year.

The downtown spot is serving a four-course prix fixe Valentine’s Day dinner from 5 – 11 p.m.

First Course
  • Sunchoke Soup with Hibiscus Dust – made with Jerusalem artichokes and a light dusting of hibiscus
Second Course
  • Seasonal Braised Forest Mushrooms – Madeira-braised forest mushrooms over a light cheese sauce, garnished with wild herbs, and a farm egg
Third Course (choice of)
  • Grilled Petit Center Cut Fillet – with mole rojo, baby vegetables, house-made chorizo crumble, charred tomato and cauliflower puree
  • Quail and Rose – pan-roasted quail with rose petal sauce, young corn, and frizzled leek
  • Tagliatelle de Mesquite – with limon amarillo, chile de arbol, crema de maiz, salsa bandera, and toasted pinon
Fourth Course (choice of)
  • Mole Rosa – strawberries, raspberries, and a light yogurt espuma

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain has a couple options at two of their restaurants.

CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar

From 5 – 9 p.m., CORE will be presenting a chef’s multi-course Valentine’s  Day dinner featuring epicurean delights, a glass of bubbly and a special take-home gift. Main course choices are set to include freshly prepared Baja Sea Bass, Allen Brothers Prime Beef Tenderloin and Herbed Goat Cheese Ravioli.

Seats are $105 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Cayton’s Burger Bistro

This dining special is happening on two days. You can visit Cayton’s Burger Bistro on Friday, February 14 or Saturday, February 15 from 5 – 8:30 p.m.

Cayton’s popular à la carte menu will also feature a Valentine’s-themed signature milkshake
