Oro Valley and the area within the vicinity have seen a lot of growth when it comes to local cuisine, and now there’s another new spot to check out.

Noodleholics, which opened up back in 2018 on Grant Rd., has officially opened its second location in the Plaza Escondida shopping center found at 7850 N. Oracle Rd.

The spot previously housed Ragazzi Northern Italian Cuisine, and has been under renovation for the past few months. The restaurant is pumped about opening the new location, which is still wrapping up some final touches, and posted the following on Facebook:

“We will constantly be improving and decorating, but we’d like to start eating.”

Noodleholics co-owner Claire Wang was born in Guangzhou, China and moved to the US in 1998. While her background is in education and linguistics, she yearned for a place that offered the food of her childhood. Tucson’s Chinese food scene is predominantly Sichuan, so she decided to open a restaurant with the Guangzhou and Guilin cuisine of her past.

The menu features around 10 different noodle soups and a small plate menu that features around 10 different options. Wheat noodles are made in-house, sliced on the slightly thicker side to cling onto the broth. The Guilin rice noodles are on the thinner side, similar to vermicelli.

With the new location comes new hours of operation at both of the locations.

The new restaurant on Oracle is open from 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Monday, closed on Tuesday, and then 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday – Sunday. The original spot on Grant will be closed on Monday, 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday – Thursday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday – Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
