It’s a final, final farewell to the longtime biker bar that recently closed on Sunday, June 13.
The Bashful Bandit, which has been serving drinks and good times for more than 40 years, will be open one last time from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday, June 18.
The bar was recently purchased by new owners, who have plans to open it back up as a barbecue restaurant that will incorporate the Bashful Bandit name.
Over the next six months, the space will be remodeled, but fans of the bar will have the opportunity to take some of the memorabilia home.
The Bashful Bandit shared the news on Facebook:
“The framed photos on the memorial wall will need to be taken down to make room for a new larger bathroom. There will be a process in place for taking down the photos. We will have some barbecue going and your favorite Bandit bartenders will be serving up cold beer till the taps run dry.”
Additionally, any photos or items that are not claimed on Friday, June 18 will ride off into the sunset and be “carefully boxed up and put in storage.”
The Bashful Bandit is located at 3686 E. Speedway Blvd. Keep up with the latest by following them on Facebook.Â
